Alstom will manufacture, supply and commission ten new Metropolis trainsets of 3 carriages each, including the supply of the on-board signaling system, for the Santo Domingo Metro Line 1 capacity expansion project. Alstom will manufacture the trains at the Santa Perpetua plant in Barcelona. This new order is a new step in Alstom’s presence in the Dominican Republic and its longstanding commitment to the country’s railway development, where Alstom has been a pioneer in providing cutting-edge technological solutions.

DMS Imaging, the imaging division of Diagnostic Medical Systems Group, announced that its commercial and industrial partner Fujifilm Healthcare Italy has won a tender for 96 FDX Visionary-RF Premium remote controlled X-ray tables manufactured by DMS Imaging. This volume of remote tables represents the largest revenue contract ever received by DMS Imaging.
Intrasense/Guerbet
Intrasense, specialist in medical imaging software solutions, announces the entry into the capital of the Guerbet group up to 39% through a reserved capital increase for a total amount of 8.8 million euros at an issue price of 0.44 euros per share, i.e. a premium of 34.15% compared to the last Intrasense share price. Guerbet expects to present shortly, on a voluntary basis, a tender offer on the balance of the Intrasense shares, at a price of 0.44 euros per share, and on the securities giving access to the capital.
Korian
Korian, an expert in the care and support of the elderly and frail, announces the completion of the acquisition in Spain of specialist mental health operator Grupo 5, after obtaining the necessary regulatory and competition clearances. With an expected turnover of around 330 million euros in 2023, in France, Spain and Italy, Korian is now the third largest private operator in the sector in Europe.

Orpeia
Faced with the unusual movements observed in recent days by the stock, Orpea recalls that, in compliance with what was announced in the press releases at the end of last year, the group has started negotiations on a drastic financial restructuring which envisages a capitalization of 3.8 billion of unsecured debt of the company Orpea SA and a capital increase of between 1.3 and 1.5 billion euros to finance its Refoundation Plan and achieve a sustainable financial structure.
Sanofi
Sanofi has entered into an additional multi-year capital commitment with Sanofi Ventures, its evergreen investment fund, which will bring the fund’s capital to more than $750 million. Sanofi Ventures will continue to act as a financing partner with early and mid-stage portfolio companies and will also support future business development and M&A operations for Sanofi. This capital increase, confirmed by the executive committee, will also strengthen the fund’s investor team.

Effective January 16, 2023, Claire Basini joins TF1 Group as Deputy Managing Director responsible for BtoC activities and joins the Executive Committee. You will also be responsible for coordinating the digital sector within the entire group.
TF1 has entered into a sub-license agreement with groups France Télévisions and M6, relating to the broadcast of 28 matches of the Rugby World Cup 2023 which will take place in France from 8 September to 28 October. TF1, the official broadcaster of the competition, will offer the most beautiful posters of the competition from 8 September with the opening match France – All Blacks. TF1 will broadcast 20 matches including 3 group matches for the French team, the 2 best quarter-finals including the one with France, the two semi-finals, the third place match and the final.
Total Energy
TotalEnergies has started its 18th biogas unit in France which, with a maximum capacity of 160 gigawatt hours (GWh), will be the largest in the country. Called BioBéarn and located in Mourenx in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, this new unit, fueled with organic waste, has begun injecting its first cubic meters of biomethane, a gas that is both renewable, carbon-free and locally produced.
UbiSoft
Ubisoft issued a full-year earnings warning, blaming recent launches that didn’t work out as expected and deteriorating macroeconomic conditions. The video game publisher is now targeting an adjusted (non-IFRS) operating loss of €500 million for its 2022-23 financial year, which ends at the end of March, against a profit of €400 million previously. Net bookings, the equivalent of revenue, are now expected to be down more than 10% from the previously communicated growth target of more than 10%.
Worldline
Worldline has completed the acquisition of a 40% stake in Online Payment Platform BV, as announced on 29 September 2022. Founded in 2011, OPP is a Dutch online payment service provider offering a dedicated payment solution to marketplaces and platforms in the C2C segment (peer-to-peer) in particular. Transactions made via marketplaces and platforms account for around a third of European e-commerce volumes and are expected to account for more than half by 2025.
