Announced April 16 on his corporate website, TikTok now offers a platform for content inspiration, available for free to all TikTok business account users. Called the Business Creative Hub, this TikTok Business extension offers advice, inspiration and showcases best practices to adopt, with supporting video examples.
How to access it?
Once the business account has been launched, you can access the Business Creative Hub through the section Corporate suite which is on the menu Parameter and privacy of the TikTok app. You will have direct access to the two main parts of the platform: the video showcase and the commercial content guide.
Three different featured video streams
form Video showcase is divided into 3 distinct streams:
- Trending business: streams videos from other business accounts in the same country in order of popularity (calculated based on received likes)
- Engaging Business: transmits a selection of contents similar to those of the brand, classified according to the level of engagement (calculated on the basis of the comments/number of views ratio)
- Trending community: shows the videos of all the platform accounts in order of popularity (calculated on the basis of the received likes)
The videos streamed on these 3 feeds are all from the app’s popular trending content over the past 30 days.
A guide to business content
“The Business Content Guide is a cheat sheet for any business that makes it easy to learn about TikTok to promote your brand. It aims to inspire, with advice on content strategy, script ideation and video shooting; but there are also practical tips for getting the most out of your business account, from setting up your profile to the best times to post, to moderating content and traffic. “
With this content guide, TikTok allows brands to find new inspiration for their video content, including examples of campaigns that have been very successful, but also viral videos that are part of the current trends.
This initiative proves once again that TikTok wants to help brands get started on the platform, as they also recently announced the arrival of a in-app video editorentirely dedicated to businesses.
