(AOF) – Alantra announces the acquisition of a majority stake in the newly formed Deko Data, which uses advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence solutions to create value for companies. Deko currently employs ten professionals, experts in data analysis. Most have worked together for nearly 10 years and have a proven track record in applying advanced data analytics and large-scale AI solutions.
As part of their extensive experience, Deko’s management team developed Pragsis Bidoop, a 250-person data and analytics company that was sold to Accenture in 2019.

Deko is led by Pedro Agudo, Managing Partner and CEO. He has over 25 years of technological experience. Prior to joining Alantra, he was co-founder and CEO of Pragsis Bidoop. After the company’s sale to Accenture, Pedro became CEO and a member of the management team of the Accenture Data & AI group.

This operation represents a new step for Alantra in the Advanced Analytics sector, following the acquisition in 2019 of urbanData Analytics, a technology company operating in the Proptech segment and which, thanks to its team of 40 data scientists, is a pioneer in the application of Big Data. for the real estate sector.
