Manifestos against impostors. Help Vert produce his new series of infographic posters so that everyone finally has the right data and real orders of magnitude on all topics related to ecology and can take action!
This is one of the key lessons of the recent survey by Fractures Françaises from the Ipsos-Sopra Steria Institute, and it’s chilling. Despite the scientific consensus on the subject, hammered out by the authors of the IPCC, only 6 out of 10 French people know that there is global warming and that it is due to human activities. How can we expect citizens to move and react at the height of the climate emergency if they don’t even know this simple fact?
How many of us know what a kilogram of CO2 or a ton is? Do you know the difference between a kilowatt hour and a kilowatt hour? Do you know how many degrees the climate has already warmed up?
It’s not just a matter of general knowledge: according to advertising, planting trees and installing some solar panels should be enough to solve all our problems. If we don’t have the orders of magnitude on CO2, energy or climate in mind, it is too easy to be fooled by the language of wood or greenwashing.
To answer this urgent problem at the time of the climate crisis, we have a project called “Unrest of grandeur: all the ecology in the posters to finally see things clearly”. The idea: a new poster every two months, showing key data and the right orders of magnitude on greenhouse gases, transport, digital technology, fashion, agriculture, biodiversity and j’on the way. These posters can be displayed in businesses, newspaper offices or schools so that everyone has access to this crucial information.
The first issue, dedicated to the greenhouse gases that warm up our atmosphere, is ready to be unveiled:
We need you very much! To fund this series, which requires considerable work, we are launching a donation campaign tomorrow which we are sharing with you as a preview.
Help us bring this essential information to life and massively disseminate it at the time of the climate crisis by donating now on the Kiss kiss bank page of our collection. You will be able to get your hands on the first poster of the series, to print at home or to receive by mail, and you will help to finally put the climate on the front page!
