Right from the start, what sets it apart audience peers when examining the school’s programs, is the extreme diversity of possible courses. “Among our specific courses, internships, semesters abroad, MSc and 3rd year double degrees in France and abroad, more than 200 orientations are possible”, explains Alexandre Pourchet, new director of the Grande Ecole program. A variety currently in vogue in a large number of business schools but which is much more than a simple declaration of intent for the nantes institute.
Indeed, this proposal of a “different” school comes very early in the course. From the pre-master, in parallel with the common management core, each student can opt for other more specific modules in digital, luxury, art, geopolitics or even CSR. “These courses, while sometimes echoing their preparatory experience, can also allow students to project themselves towards an initial professional orientation, continues Alexandre Pourchet. Another possibility is to integrate our Global Mobility Track immediately and thus start studying abroad from the second semester. »
From master 1, four main courses: International, Commitment, Modular and Apprenticeship
In master 1 then come four main courses until the end of school, including the “International” course, exemplary in terms of diversity. On the program, a semester in Audencia for in-depth management or 240 hours dedicated to environmental and social transition within the Gaïa school, but also many possibilities for study or internships abroad. With a choice between two main formulas: study in several countries of the world or concentrate on one geographical area, be it Asia, South America or the United States.
Another opportunity, integrating the “Commitment” course. » for two semesters of courses at Audencia including an associative, entrepreneurial mission or student work, but also a semester of studies abroad and a semester of internship in France or abroad. Not to mention the “Modular” course developed to offer students the greatest possible choice, between academic semesters in France and abroad and internships. Additionally, some students will be able to opt for the “Apprenticeship” course offered in four streams: Finance, Marketing Business Development, Auditing and Consulting. Finally, Audencia has set up various so-called “double skills” courses, in Engineering Sciences, Law, Fine Arts, Letters and Design.
With the exception of those entering apprenticeships, every student completes their schooling with a double degree! It will be obtained through a MSc carried out within the school or in partnership with a French or foreign institution. And the choice is vast! Audencia offers 28 MScs divided between four main areas – Finance & Accounting, Business & Society, Marketing & Sales, Management – and a fifth more varied category which includes, for example, the MSc Responsible for Sports Organizations or the MSc Cultural Management and artistic, unless you prefer double degrees established with among others Sciences Po Aix, Centrale Nantes and IDA in Law and many other international possibilities with institutes such as Aston Business School (UK), Leipzig Graduate School of Management ( Germany), Columbia University, UCLA and New York Film Academy in the United States.
“It is the students who manage their own trajectory”
“Audencia is alongside the students to guide and advise them, but they are the ones who manage their trajectory”, continues Alexandre Pourchet. And, of course, Audencia will be at their side to guide and advise them. Even our courses, always offered in small groups of a maximum of 40 people, follow this same accompanying logic. But finally, our students will be the only masters of their programs as long as they take at one time or another a semester of in-depth management or a semester dedicated to CSR within Gaïa, plus two semesters in a company, in France or the abroad. ‘international. For the rest, they will go ahead based on the maturity of their project and their desire to explore certain areas…”
Many choices, many international, social and environmental commitments, support but never coercion, and also a very important associative life, it is immediately clear that Audencia is so acclaimed by its students…
