Already, we are seduced by the presentation. The game is on a videotape in which we find a drawing of the octagon that every young person over 35 has known. This piece of plastic that was torn from velcro and delivered to the crate in exchange for the precious tape.

In this case, there are letters, many letters. There are two shelves. One first for the face-to-face round and another for the movie round.

So how is it played? In two teams that can have a variable number of players. Note that there is an app to download to play, but it is not essential and can be replaced by a stopwatch.

We start with the head-to-head round, for which each team nominates a player. Players will have to name the movies associated with the returned card and will have 15 seconds to give each answer. Once a player fails to do so, the round ends. The winning player will then draw six film cards, give his opponent the three most difficult and keep the three that are easier … in their opinion.

In the movie round, the guessing player’s teammates will have 30 seconds to give as many correct answers as possible.

Guessing players should spread their three questions on a central board and will need to discover the correct answers using a quote, a single word or a mime. Did you get good answers to all your questions? You can steal some from the other team.

To win, you must be the first team to hold at least one film in each of the eight categories. And if you have several from a single category, know that at the end of each round, you can roll three to steal a card from the opposing team.

A quick game, really not easy, but funny. Furthermore, we suggest that you double the allotted time to one minute instead of 30 seconds.

Here is a pretty clever card game that reinvents the genre a bit. The goal is known, to collect color sequences. But the way to achieve this is a little more original.

Before explaining the game mechanics in detail, already know that there are cards numbered from 1 to 9 in four different colors. There are also currency cards numbered from 1 to 5. And on the deck, we add some jokes that can replace color cards.

In turn, a player will draw the first card from the deck and place it in front of him. He will then decide to continue or stop. But since it’s a game where you push your luck, you have to stop before you cross the number ten, in which case you are toast.

But it is not as simple as that.

There are cards with numbers that add up, but there are also money cards that add up and their value is deducted from the total counted. Do you follow? Therefore, you can jump to the tenth line on one plane or the other, but the total of one or the other type of card should not exceed the number ten.

If the player stops in time, he collects all the digit cards or all the money corresponding to the money cards. The other players recover the amount of money if he chooses the encrypted cards. The player whose turn it is can also buy a card.

The purchase of cards is done with the coin collected during the game and from a card market created by those abandoned on the table by players who have grilled during the game or by those left out by players who have chosen to collect the difference. You pay in cash the value of the purchased card and you can also remove the cards from your board.

The game ends when the last card is drawn from the draw pile. Each player marks a point per card in the longest row of each color. An additional bonus point is awarded to a player who has a full straight from 1 to 9.

Here is a typical aperitif game that can be played alone or in a team. Each player receives six cards in which you can read the statements, the answer to which, in figures, is on the back.

The goal could not have been clearer, to be the first player or team to have only one card left in front of you.

So we start with a target card of 50. Everyone has to determine which of the cards in his playing area has the answer closest to the target. Once the selection is made, each player / team advances the selected card and they return to discover the results. The player farthest from the answer draws a new card and leaves his card in the center, this becomes the target for the next round. Everyone else puts the letters aside.

This is done until a player / team has only one card left. There are also cards that can change an answer and can be used once in the game. You will see that you do not know as much as you think.
