“I would like to teach people how to take care of their health every day, thanks to herbal medicine”
Upon joining Audencia, Doriane Tuffier was not really interested in the business sector. She wanted to find an education that was as close as possible to her values by joining student associations, but also due to the international dimension of the school. As part of her training, the young woman then completed an internship in Cambodia and a second in Denmark, as well as an exchange semester in Canada. Finally, at the end of her final internship in a Parisian consultancy firm, Doriane made the decision to change her professional project. “I refused the CDI that was offered to me and resigned from the internship,” she explains.
The following years are synonymous with research and experimentation. The young woman followed a second master’s degree in Sustainable development of territories under Erasmus Mundus (now Erasmus+). “I then reoriented myself towards sustainable development in the broadest sense,” she explains. For the final internship, the young woman joined the Make Sense organizational team. Her mission: to support start-ups with a social and environmental impact in their early development.
Finally, shortly before giving birth, Doriane Tuffier converted to the world of plants: “Supporting projects without having your own is sometimes frustrating”. An idea that she came to him after meeting many herbalists in the Drôme. So he did online training for about three years, worked with herbalists in the field, and listened to podcasts. “The more things I learned, the more I knew it was what I wanted to do with my life. In 2022, you launched your herbalist project in the Dordogne, entitled La Renarde. Her activity consists in the cultivation, processing and sale of products based on medicinal plants.
In the future, the young woman would like to set up courses on the topics of plants and health: “I would like to pass on and teach people how to recover small daily wounds, or even chronic diseases, thanks to herbal medicine”. =
