Created in 2010, Commercial School of Rabat, the management school of the International University of Rabat, has set itself the ambition of being a true student hub for Africa. The only school in Africa and the Middle East to be ranked in the top 100 global masters in management by the Financial Times 2022 and 1weather school in Africa in terms of management science research, the Moroccan establishment aims to train the leaders of tomorrow so that they can transform the world in a positive way.
The culture of excellence in an innovative student environment
Rabat Business School has been committed to creating an innovative environment for its students since its creation. 30-hectare campus, 12,000 m2 building, 36 classrooms, 7 amphitheatres, an auditorium, 6 student residences, state-of-the-art sports facilities, a trading room… the school has modern facilities which allow it to be the first school in Morocco in number with 2,200 students.
With the principle that excellence is not a privilege reserved for the elite, the establishment has programs and training intended for tomorrow’s leaders aware of new environmental and social imperatives. To realize this happy ambition, the institution has four academic departments: finance and quantitative methods, human resources and organizational behavior, marketing and strategy, supply chain management and information systems.
In line with developments in the African and international labor market, Rabat Business School offers its students a panel of 10 diplomas, all in English, including two in French, as well as 16 executive training programmes, in English and in French .
A school decidedly aimed at internationality
With its feet in Africa but its eyes on the world, the management school has a permanent teaching body made up of 65% internationals representing 20 different nationalities.

Internationalization is indeed listed as one of the two major axes of its strategic planning 2021-2026 together with international accreditations. The school, which loses nothing in waiting, can already boast of having added to its success that of obtaining a prestigious label: the American label AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), created in 1916, which rewards business school for the quality of their management education. Only 5% of business schools in the world are accredited by the AACSB.
Its resolutely international vocation is also based on building partnerships with the major international economic players. Deloitte, PWC, Microsoft, Crédit Agricole, Orange, Nestlé, BNP Paribas… the young school firmly believes in the power of commercial partnerships to develop and adapt its programs to the professional world of today and tomorrow.
The African leader in management science research
With as I believe an innovative environment at the service of excellence, Rabat Business School places scientific research at the heart of its mission and concerns. To give the right means to its ambition, it has a highly qualified international teaching staff: 93% of the professors are doctors.
Its laboratory (BEAR Lab – Business, Economics & Actuarial Research Laboratory) where its researchers conduct studies in various disciplines related to management sciences, including finance, marketing, supply chain management, human resources, behavioral economics and industrial economics has maintained “corporate social responsibility and sustainable development” as a common thread.
With the numerous studies of its researchers published in international journals, Rabat Business School actively contributes to the analysis and resolution of Moroccan companies’ problems and to the overall development of the national and African economy. It has thus become in 2022 the number 1 in Africa in terms of the number of scientific articles published in peer-reviewed journals in management sciences.
A quality destination for international students
To become the reference international business school in Africa, the institute encourages the culture of internationalization in all its aspects, such as educational programs, faculty, research and the student body.
Among its 2200 students, the school already has more than 300 international students and intends to double their number by 2026. Indeed, since its creation in 2010, Rabat Business School has worked on signing partnerships with many prestigious universities: thanks to its extensive network, welcomes students from over 150 partner universities and business schools.
