Homeopathy specialist Boiron Laboratory announces that its sales for the fourth quarter of 2022 are up slightly from strong sales in the last quarter of 2021, which included a significant amount of Covid test sales. These amount to 147.5 million euros, up 1% on the same period of the previous year. In France, sales decreased by 5.5% to 71.4 million euros, while sales in Europe excluding France decreased by 18.4%.

GL Events, a company specializing in events, announced its consolidated turnover as at 31 December 2022, equal to 1.315 billion euros, with an annual increase of 77.4% compared to the previous year. In the fourth quarter of 2022, revenues amounted to 510.5 million euros, up by 68% compared to 2021 and by 58% compared to 2019, continuing the growth trend that began at the beginning of the year.

The growth is driven by the dynamism of water activities in its three segments: drinking water, industrial water and swimming pools. Sales abroad and the Air and Surfaces business, on the other hand, fell sharply compared to the previous year.

Vallourec recently won major orders from LLOG Exploration Offshore, one of the largest privately held exploration and production companies in the United States, for the delivery of 25,000 tons of line pipe as part of the Salamanca deepwater development off the Gulf Coast of the United States. The Salamanca development is based on a floating generating unit (FPU) created from the refurbishment of a previously decommissioned generating plant.
